About Me
Over the past few years I’ve become interested in birding and discovered a whole world of natural beauty that I had never taken the time to really appreciate. I love that this hobby encourages me to get outside and explore the incredible natural resources of Southeast Michigan. From Sandhill Cranes to Bald Eagles, I am amazed at what I can see within 30 minutes of my own home, or even in my own backyard.
This winter, with the temps below freezing for several weeks, I found a new way to channel my love for birds. From gift boxes, ribbons, paper, and natural treasures that I’ve been hoarding for years, I started making bird dioramas, each one a unique world and story unto itself. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
